About Me

HELLOOOOO FOOLLKKSSSSS!!!!!!

My name is Cathlea Mahardiestya, call me Dea or Cathlea, but most foreigners I know call me "Cath" because it's kinda hard for them to spell my name (lol). I live in Semarang, Indonesia. I was born on 1994 and currently majoring Architecture on Diponegoro University.

Fashion Designer is my goal (sounds funny since I study Architecture), my mom won't let me to take fashion school because she said that I can learn it by myself (and it actually works) also she's afraid because fashion world is though and all but I never gave up on my dream; and which I actually agree with her. I feel that arts (fashion design) is something that you can actually learn it by yourself. Because it depends on your creativity, and no one can teach you that, and which you have to dig it by yourself.

It's also kinda weird because a person like me; who never learned about sewing, clothes pattern, etc ; can actually make clothes. When I see clothes, I suddenly understand on how the pattern will go or how to sew it and all, seems like it's naturally coming into me; which I believe people who have the same passion in fashion would have the same feeling too. And now I believe that what my mom said was right; passion will give you things that you actually need to be on it.

Anyway, I'm the only one child in my family. My dad is the one who taught me drawing, painting, and sketching, so you can say that I'm actually like the real cloning of my dad; because my mom really has no idea on how to draw.

I (am trying to) enjoy my major, but still, I used to draw clothes and now I have to draw buildings is a huge diference for me and I'm trying to do my best. I personally into interior designer rather than architect because really, I have no idea on how to create or even think a shape of a building.
